Public Relation Training was organized for the members of the Anti-Trafficking Network in Niš from February 17 to 19, 2017. The training was held by Mirela Veljović Fazlić, an activist of the Women's Forum Prijepolje and a reporter of TV Forum Prijepolje, and Katarina Ivanović, in charge of public relations in ASTRA.

Thirteen activists from eight associations making up the AT Network were instructed how to make media statements, how to prepare, how to write a press release, and how to moderate panel discussions and round tables.

As a result of this training, short TV videos were made in which the activists talked about human trafficking, differences between prostitution and sexual exploitation, how to protect oneself from traffickers, as well as about prejudices related to this serious social problem.

The need for such a training was recognized and articulated by the AT Network activists during the evaluation of the first year of the project "Women's NGOs against Human Trafficking in Serbia" with the aim of making the Network more visible and enabling its members to represent their work to the public in the best possible way.

The PR Training was financed by OAK and Trag Foundations within the project "Women's NGOs against Human Trafficking in Serbia".
