From October 12 to 14, 2016, an advanced training on the problem of human trafficking and AT Network meeting were held in Kraljevo. The basic training was attended by 17 new activists of the AT Network, where they learned about the phenomenon of human trafficking and its forms, who the potential traffickers and potential victims are, the ways of getting caught in the trafficking chain, differences between smuggling and trafficking, and sexual exploitation and voluntary prostitution, prejudices about human trafficking and the ways to protect themselves from becoming trafficking victims.

The advanced training and AT Network meeting were attended by 35 activists, both new and old ones. At this training, it was talked about governmental and non-governmental stake holders dealing with the cases of human trafficking, domestic legislature concerning trafficking and about victims' reintegration and recovery after breaking out of the trafficking chain.

The AT Network meeting was chaired by Tatjana Nikolić, a network coordinator. At the meeting, the results of the Network operation since February 2016, when the previous meeting had been held, were presented, and the efforts of each member of the Network were also discussed.

In addition, the activities expected until the end of the project year were announced and organized, and strategic planning was envisaged for next April or May. At the suggestion of a coordinator, Tatjana Nikolić, and with approval from the Network members, the Center for Girls Užice was commended for special contribution to increasing the capacity of the Anti-Trafficking Network by increasing the number of young activists and engaging and committing itself to the AT Network goals.

The Anti-Trafficking Network operation is supported by OAK and Trag Foundations within the project "Women's NGOs against Human Trafficking in Serbia".
